FEEDING DIRECTIONS
Country Livestock will be fed at different amounts depending on type of animal, function, quality of roughage fed, and desired performance.
CATTLE Feed at the rate of 3-8 lbs. per head per day and as high as 20 lbs., depending on forage quality and desired performance.
HORSES Feed up to 1% of body weight, depending on forage quality and activity level.
SHEEP Feed at the rate of 1-3 lbs. per head per day, depending on forage quality and desired performance. This grain should be fed along with roughage.
Provide a free-choice mineral if small amounts of Country Livestock is offered. Provide fresh, clean water at all times.
REMINDER: Feed is perishable and should be stored in a clean, dry, well-ventilated area so it will remain fresh and palatable. DO NOT feed moldy or insect infested feed to animals as it may cause illness, abortion or death.
