FEEDING DIRECTIONS
Calf should consume or be forced fed 3-4 lbs. (3-4 pints) of colostrum with in 3-4 hours after birth. Continue feeding colostrum until the 4th day.
On the 4th day of age, begin feeding appropriate Calf Milk Replacer according to directions on the bag, or feed whole milk.
Begin offering a small amount of Calf Starter Supreme. Gradually increase the Calf Starter Supreme as the calf's appetite increases. No hay should be fed for the first two months of life.
From 2-3 months of age, continue to feed Calf Starter Supreme free choice with good quality hay. At 3 months, gradually increase the amount of hay fed and limit the Calf Starter Supreme to 5 lbs./head/day.
Always provide fresh, clean water and salt at all times. Keep feed and water equipment clean and sanitary.
REMINDER: Feed is perishable and should be stored in a clean, dry, well-ventilated area so it will remain fresh and palatable. DO NOT feed moldy or insect infested feed to animals as it may cause illness, abortion or death.
